Calling creative kids and teens!
Join artist Deb McNaughton for a fun-filled 2.5-hour creative experience in the studio. In this hands-on workshop, participants will transform a natural straw beach bag into a colourful coastal masterpiece they'll be proud to use all summer long.
Workshop participants will learn how to select a beautiful colour palette, paint layered backgrounds, and create stunning coastal-inspired designs using stencil techniques. They'll also make fluffy pom poms from scratch and personalise their bag with each individual choice they make along the way.
No experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and get ready for a morning of painting, making and creating!
Workshop includes:
• A 2.5 hour guided workshop with experienced Artist and Business Owner, Deb McNaughton
• A large straw beach bag to paint and personalise
• All paints, stencils, brushes, art supplies and materials
• Instructional stencil techniques
• Comfy pompom making creation station
• A relaxed, creative studio environment
• Your own one-of-a-kind hand painted beach bag to take home
Workshops are available for a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 participants per session. If you are booking for a group, please book for all participants in one booking as sessions will fill up quickly.
If minimum booking isn't reached, workshop will be cancelled and participants, refunded.
Photographs will be taken during the workshop for promotional purposes. Please let Deb know if you do not wish to have your child's face shown on social media in the notes section upon checkout.
Participants are encouraged to wear old clothes and bring a water bottle for the workshop.
Location: 21 Eulinga Ave, Aspendale, Victoria
Please arrive 5 minutes before your workshop for a prompt 10am start. As the studio is separate to the house, it is important for all participants to arrive on time.
*Due to the limited space in the studio, parents/carers are unable to stay during the workshop so please ensure your child/children will be happy enough to attend on their own and dropped at the front door.
